A topical gel which is clinically proven to help men get an erection within 10 minutes.

It has a unique evaporative physical action due to the cooling and gradual warming which stimulates nerve endings on the glans penis (neurotransmission), which leads to increased blood flow and stronger erections.

It lasts long enough for successful intercourse to occur in around 65% of subjects. In the clinical study used to obtain approval as a medical device in Europe, one of the primary endpoints (SEP3) asked patients, “Did your erection last long enough for sexual intercourse?”. The proportion of responders was assessed as 68% (71% with mild ED; 61% with moderate ED and 71% with severe ED).

Water, ethanol, propylene glycol, glycerin, carbomer potassium hydroxide. The product is a medical device, not a drug and therefore does not contain an “active ingredient”.

An active ingredient is a “drug” that works by a physiological effect in the body. Eroxon StimGel works by a physical evaporative action, leading to a temperature drop followed by an increase in temperature, which in turn creates a strong sensory signal, stimulating nerve endings ultimately leading to an erection. The “physical” rather than “pharmacological” effect means it is classified as a medical device.

Eroxon® Stimgel has been certified under EU Regulation 2017/745 (the “MDR”), as a treatment of erectile dysfunction. It is classed as a medical device, not a drug, because it works through physical, not chemical means.

As a CE-marked medical device, meaning it meets the safety, health and environmental protection requirements of the EU, Eroxon® Stimgel may be marketed throughout the EEA. It is also approved in the UK as a medical device.

Use a ‘pea-sized’ amount of Eroxon® Stimgel and rub onto the glans (head) of the penis for around 15 seconds.

Yes, this is in common with other oral medications which also require sexual stimulation.

The amount of gel expressed from the tube is approximately 0.3ml; a pea-sized amount.

Eroxon StimGel is applied to the head of the penis only. It is not a sexual lubricant so it does not need  to be applied to the whole shaft of the penis.

They work differently. The PDE5i is an oral medication that typically has to be taken 30-60 minutes before intercourse. It works by suppressing an enzyme which lowers the level of a chemical messenger cGMP. Increasing cGMP levels increases blood flow and leading to erections. Eroxon StimGel is a topical gel that works through a cooling and gradual warming effect which promotes blood flow and normalises the erection. The action of Eroxon StimGel as a topical is fast helping men achieve an erection within 10 minutes. In two clinical studies, local side-effects in males and female partners were very low.

Yes, it has been studied in psychological and organic erectile problems (and mixed), and in mild, moderate and severe erectile problems and has been shown to be effective.

This is not an approved use for Eroxon and has not been studied in non erectile problem users.

There is no restriction on use given its excellent safety- profile. One unit dose tube is intended to be used for each intercourse attempt.

Yes, a key advantage of Eroxon® Stimgel over tablets is that it can be used as part of foreplay. In a clinical study, approximately 30% of partners applied the product for the man.

Eroxon® Stimgel is not absorbed; the volatile components evaporate quickly on the surface of the glans to stimulate the nerve endings.

Initially yes. Laboratory tests indicate a 10C drop in temperature within 1 minute. This is quickly replaced with a warming of the glans back to its resting temperature. This warming takes several minutes.

Eroxon StimGel has been shown to be compatible with latex condoms which are the majority of condoms sold on the market.

Yes. Eroxon StimGel is not a lubricant but can be used safely with sexual lubricants

Our biological tests indicate that it is safe to be used this way, although the clinical studies did not study use in this way.

Side-effects are minimal in males and their partners. A very low level of a penile burning sensation was noted in clinical studies. One female noted vaginal irritation; it was not clear whether this was related to the use of Eroxon StimGel. Some other minor side-effects were noted in the clinical studies such as low incidence of headache.

Whilst Eroxon is an effective product proven in clinical studies to work in the majority of men, Erectile Dysfunction is a very complex condition with many causes and like medicinal erectile treatments that are available on prescription or over-the-counter, Eroxon is not effective 100% of the time in all patients.
